It depends on the quantity of water and how much it can go deeper into the burner. If a small quantity of water like just 1 cup is accidentally fallen on the stove then there will be less water that goes inside the burner and you can just open the lid or cover of the stove to dry it.

If there is a large amount of after fallen on the stove then clean the outer surface completely and open the cover so that water dries out completely.

After opening the cover of the burner, ensure again that there is no gas leaking from the pipe. Keep watching the stove after some time and if you see any moisture then clean it with a towel.

5. Check the burner after 24 hours

After one day, turn on the gas from the fuel tank or open the main valve of the gas supply. Now ignite the one burner and check that it’s clicking because all the burners should start to burn after the water has been removed completely.
